Well folks, if you are on this page...you obviously have way too much time on yer' hands. So you wanna know about ole' Pete do ya? I was originally born in New Orleans, LA. That's right...I'm a Cajun Prospector! I got hooked lookin' fer ole' Civil War relics and arrow heads as a kid. Nothin' brought me bigger joy than gettin' dirty and comin' home with a treasure to keep forever. Got me a detector in my teens then started cross the USA lookin' fer hard to find stuff. Found a lotta junk, and found a lot of keepers. I saw a bunch of fellers in Colorado one day lookin' like they were doin' laundry or something, so I went down to take a peek. Boy howdy, them fellers were nice and showed me all they knew about prospectin' fer gold. Fore' ya know it, I am all over the country pannin' and sluicin' like crazy. Found me a good woman and got her hooked as well. A youngin' came along and there ya' have it! A prospecting family...
Now, nothin' gives me greater pleasure than helpin' folks like you get into the hobby as well. Heck, I'm even into this new thing called Geocaching.
